Patton Oswalt, who is one of my favorite comedians, delivers a really impressive performance.  I don’t think this qualifies as a “sports comedy” or a “dark comedy” in the slightest (the genres Netflix categorizes it under).  Its an exceedingly dark portrait of a man who has very little to live for aside from a perverse obsession with the New York Giants.  There’s a great buddy relationship between Patton Oswalt and Kevin Corrigan, who had a small but stand out role.  Overall though, it didn’t quite do it for me.  The characters, although sweet and engaging, are too pathetic to relate to.
